Faith • Healing • Purpose
Her light did not go out. It multiplied.
The Dr. Nina Collins Foundation continues the legacy of Dr. Nina Ja'asiel Collins — a daughter of Liberia, a doctor of the mind, a woman of unshakable faith. We build what she believed in: education for children and hope for families facing cancer.
Two missions. One legacy.
Nina poured her life into two callings — putting education within reach of children, and standing beside people in their hardest season. Our first $50,000 campaign funds both.
A place in Liberia where children can read, learn, and dream — stocked with books, staffed with love, and built on Nina's conviction that a child with a book has a future. Nina was once a little girl in Liberia. Education changed the whole arc of her story. The Reading Room hands that chance forward.
Fund the Reading RoomNina fought colon cancer with courage and faith — and our family learned that cancer attacks a whole household, not just a body. Nina's Hope stands beside families walking that road: encouragement, resources, and a community that refuses to let them walk it alone.
Give HopeOur Mission in Liberia
Nina was once a little girl in Paynesville, Liberia. Education changed the whole arc of her story — and the Dr. Nina Collins Reading Room will put that same open door within reach of children whose stories haven't been written yet. As the mission unfolds, this is where you'll watch it happen: the site, the shelves, the books, and the faces.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life… nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”Romans 8:38–39 — the verse that summarized Nina's life
